Printing

Printing and Scanning

Faculty, staff, and students at Indiana University utilize Universal IU Print to print, copy, and can across all campuses. View printer list.

Most Universal IU Print printers at IU are Toshiba brand. There are Toshiba printers on the first and second floors of Cavanaugh Hall, which are primarily used by students but can be used by faculty and staff. When printing, use the printer driver “Universal_IU_Print on universal.print.iu.edu.” Retrieve your print job by tapping your Crimson Card on the card reader on the printer.

Liberal Arts Specifics (Ricoh printers)

Liberal Arts is part of Universal IU Print but has Ricoh multifunction copiers that require special printer drivers to use all printing features such as collating and stapling. If you do not see the drivers below as options, please email askit@iu.edu for assistance.

  • Black & White: IU_BRW on universal.print.iu.edu
  • Color: IU_ColorR on universal.print.iu.edu

After printing, retrieve your print job by tapping your Crimson Card on the card reader on the multifunction copier.

If you do not see your name on the menu for scanning and emailing documents, please email askit@iu.edu to ask to be added to the Liberal Arts copiers for scanning.
