Erin Kelley is a public historian, public programming professional, dog-lover, beer geek, and voter. At Spirit & Place she serves as the Program Director where she oversees the annual Spirit & Place Festival by working with 100+ community partners across sectors and disciplines. Kelley was selected as one of twenty recipients from across the country in 2018 for Civic Saturday training by Citizen University and conducts these civic gatherings in Indy 2-3 times a year. Prior to Spirit & Place, she served as Director of Education and Community Engagement for the Indiana Historical Society. Kelley is an active member and past-president of the League of Women Voters where she advocates and educates on issues ranging from voting rights to redistricting reform.
