The Max Kade Center, with the Volkshochschule Köln (Cologne), and with the support of our city partners–Freundeskreis Köln-Indianapolis and Indianapolis-Cologne Sister City Partnership Committee–received a grant to participate in the Urban X-Change Network through September 2023.

Funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, MKC, VHS, and our community partners will spearhead events meant to foster civil democracy.  With a focus on supporting and engaging the LGBTQIA+ communities in Indianapolis, programs will provide space for encounters and dialogue for all residents of Indianapolis and Cologne. We will announce our slate of events in the next month, culminating in Indy Pride in June.
