If you are seeking a job as a paralegal, an internship can be a helpful way of learning through experience. An internship opens the door for potential employment and strengthens your professional skills. At the end of your coursework you are strongly encouraged to complete a 140-hour paralegal internship. This can count as an elective course if taken as Y485: Field Experience in Paralegal Studies.
