Associate Faculty member Desmond L. Kemp’s Introduction to American Politics class (POLS Y103) was given the opportunity to take a creative approach to solving political centered issues using technology. They met with the creator of EMPOWRD, Horace Williams, which is an application that allows lobbyists and politicians in Georgia to engage local citizens.

Teams of students each presented their projects to a group of community judges including representatives from ProAct Indy and Liberty Mutual. Read more about the event here.
