“It is always a pleasure to give to the Religious Studies program. I benefited from an excellent education in Religious Studies which I have seen grow through the years with additional classes and special presentations. My education led me to seminary and ordination into Christian ministry, with a full appreciation of all faith traditions, along with ten years of teaching in a community college and forty-five years of local church ministry. I give because I know the importance in providing for others as an investment in the future. It is vital to be aware of what religion means to people, and how its practice can shape the world for good or for evil. A strong liberal arts education is crucial. Giving financially to Religious Studies on my part may not be a huge amount as my husband and I give additionally to other schools, charities, and churches, but it is consistent. Consistency is a part of supportive stewardship, and I am a proud alumnus, happy to give!”
