Clubs and Organizations

Joining a student organization is a great way to practice your language skills while getting to know your fellow students. Whether you’re looking for a study group or wanting to chat about your favorite foreign film, all of our student clubs inspire fun and lasting connections.

Francophone Student Association

The Francophone Student Association (FSA) is a student-run organization that supports the learning and use of the French language at IU Indianapolis and promotes awareness and understanding of francophone cultures among the IU Indianapolis community.

  • The FSA supports the learning of the French language at IU Indianapolis by providing interesting and accessible opportunities where the IU Indianapolis community can enhance and maintain its knowledge of the French language.
  • The FSA promotes awareness and understanding of francophone cultures among the IU Indianapolis community through planning, hosting, or promoting activities/events within the IU Indianapolis community that present accurate information about francophone cultures.

Events include weekly conversation and culture hours (Pause Café), movie screenings, restaurant trips, and cooking demonstrations (pastries, breads, desserts, couscous, fondue…)!

For more information or to get involved, contact the club via email: fsajags@iu.edu
