In this latest podcast, Dr Jonas Bjork, professor of Journalism and Public Relations, discusses an article about how suspicious medical journals were of newspapers and their coverage of medicina at the turn of the last century. Advertising for patent medicines and miracle cures were of particular concern, as were reporters who lacked the knowledge to understand medical matters.
