Join Dr Carrie Foote, Sociology this Wednesday, November 9 for a very special Trail Talk at the Phoenix Theatre Indianapolis as part of the Spirit & Place Festival. The event is free to the public. Registration is encouraged. A visual art show featuring Indy-based artist Contonnia Turner, Jr. and photographer/digital artist Todd Fuqua will provide a backdrop for the discussion (moderated by Terrell Parker with experts Dr. Carrie Foote and Mark Anthony Hughes) about how intersectional identities are impacted by Indiana’s HIV criminal laws. Explore the exhibit and interact informally with artists beginning at 5:30. The Talk will begin at 6:15 moderated by Terrell Parker. The Phoenix bar will be open, and snacks will be provided. The artwork will be on display at the Michael O’Brien Gallery at the Phoenix Theatre during the Spirit & Place Festival from November 3-13th during regular box office hours Wed-Fri 12pm-5pm.
