Dr. Marianne Wokeck, Chancellor’s Professor Emerita of History in the IU School of Liberal Arts, has won the 2022 William F. Eagan Lifetime Achievement Award of the Indiana Conference of the American Association of University Professors. The award is given “In Recognition of a Lifetime of Service.”

Dr. Wokeck became a member of AAUP when she started as an assistant professor at IU Indianapolis in 1991. She served as president of the IU Indianapolis chapter of the AAUP and served on the Board of the Indiana Conference. Dr. Wokeck states that one goal of the Indiana AAUP remains elusive, namely to have a faculty member serve on the boards of all of the public universities in the state.

Congratulations, Marianne!
