Arabic and Islamic Studies

Our program explores the contributions and impact of Arab and Muslim cultures in local and global perspective. Arab and Muslim cultures have shaped the history of art, food, medicine, math, philosophy, poetry, politics, religion, and more both in Indiana and around the world. Students who minor in our program may opt to study the Arabic language, but it is not required. Almost all of our courses are offered with no prerequisites. Scholarships are available. Your financial support of the program is appreciated.
