Pending final approvals, beginning in spring 2025, the Arabic Studies program will offer six $4,000 scholarships ($1,000 per year for four years) to students who minor in Arabic and Islamic studies. Recipients must (1) remain in good standing and (2) complete at least three credits per year from the program’s approved list of courses or courses approved by the director in order to maintain their scholarships. More information about application process will become available during the fall 2024 semester.

The Department of World Languages and Cultures offers several scholarships and awards to students who have excelled in our program. Some of these awards recognize outstanding academic achievement and performance, while others support students engaging in research related travel and students demonstrating financial need. These are given annually each spring. Details and application instructions appear below.
