The Arabic Studies Program is happy to announce scholarships for incoming and current IU Indianapolis students who minor in Arabic and Islamic Studies. The Arabic Studies program will offer $1000 per year up to four years provided that the recipient continues to advance toward the degree and has received the recommendation of the Scholarship Committee for renewal. The exact number of scholarships awarded will be determined by student interest and available funds, but the program expects to award at least two per year.

Selection Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, students (1) must have declared their minor in Arabic and Islamic studies and (2) must successfully complete at least three credits per year from the program’s approved list of courses on the Indiana University Indianapolis campus or courses approved by the director to maintain the scholarship.
