Paid Internship: Program Assistant for the IU Indianapolis Arabic Studies Program

Are you interested in learning how a higher education program runs? Do you like connecting with students and community members? Do you have an interest in learning about Arabic and Islamic studies? If so, please apply for a paid internship with the IU Indianapolis Arabic Studies Program. You will work up to 10 hours per week during the school year, getting paid $15 an hour.

The program assistant will (1) promote the program to Arab and Muslim communities, including religious congregations, public schools, and Muslim schools like MTI and Eman; (2) connect with college-bound high school students who may be interested in the program minor; (3) promote the program on campus at various Arab, Muslim, and multicultural affairs events and tabling at the campus center; and (4) work with community members to promote the program on social media (Insta, X, and Facebook). You will need to access transportation around central Indiana.
