On the 28th of January, the History Club at IU Indianapolis hosted their first meeting for the year of 2025.

After introductions and a bit of “icebreaking”, those in attendance played a couple rounds of history-themed Jeopardy. While the quality of some of the games were questionable, the fun that was had outweighed the dubiousness of the material.

The club also discussed the extracurricular activities of the club including historical site visits, demonstrations, community organizing, and more.

The history club plans to extend their activities outside of the campus in order to give its members a great appreciation and involvement in the whole of Indiana’s history. There’s a whole word outside of the confines of the campus. While the campus is the shared nexus of the students, the club wishes to enshrine an appreciation of the world, starting at our doorstep.

Membership of the club is open to any and all who are interested. We do not restrict our membership to history majors; we merely ask that you have a passion for history as zealous as ours.
