The Indianapolis Model United Nations (IMUN) is an annual simulation of the UN for high schools, held every March on the campus of Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. Over a period of 24 hours, students simulate the different committees of the Model UN, in meetings moderated by students from IU Indianapolis.
IMUN is one of the two longest-running high school Model UNs in the world, and is attended by high school from Indiana and several neighboring states. In the pages that follow we have posted information on the annual conference, the registration procedure, important dates and contacts, and some background on the United Nations itself.
We hope to have the program back up and fully running once the pandemic is over.
