You have many opportunities to connect with students on common causes and activities through student organizations. Often Africana Studies students join together in club activities where they can put into action the theories and ideas they are learning in their studies. You will often see an Africana Studies faculty member as an advisor to an organization or club. Consider where you want to make an impact.
