Over the past eight years, the Museum Studies Department has collaborated with the Humanities Action Lab (HAL), a remarkable coalition of universities and human rights organizations from around the world that together produce community-curated public humanities projects about urgent social issues. Addressing global concerns at the local level, Museum Studies students and professors have engaged deeply with many Indianapolis agencies, including the Kheprw Institute, Indianapolis Public Library, Indiana Medical History Museum, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
