As an Africana Studies student, you’ll learn how to analyze topics and gain a broadened worldview through dialogue and action that improves leadership skills and analytical thinking. Africana Studies is designed for everybody, and it can equip you with the interdisciplinary tools you will need to lead in complex and evolving situations and environments, and serve the community, regardless of chosen profession. If you are curious about history, literature, art, language, religion, politics, or social structure of Africana peoples throughout the world then this is the major, minor, or general education course for you.
