At the first annual Welcoming Work Places event, Mayor Joe Hogsett presented ICIC with the Global Educator award for commitment to the local immigrant community as evidenced by providing on-site English classes at the workplace.

This award comes in recognition of ICIC’s over 20-year history of workplace English classes and ongoing partnership with SMC Corporation to provide English classes to a team of Japanese associates. SMC Corporation was also recognized at this event.
