Miriam is an undergraduate student from IU Bloomington who studies International Law, Spanish Linguistics, and Russian. She joined ICIC in January as an administrative assistant for the center and her duties include planning conferences, managing social media and the online newsletter, and providing administrative support for the center. When asked why she wanted to work for ICIC, Miriam said,       

“As an IU Bloomington student, I came across ICIC through their website and the first thing that caught my eye was a blog post on previous interns. I realized that we shared many things in common and I thought that ICIC would be the perfect place for me! I have always been passionate about language and I love that ICIC was able to combine both my passion for language and my passion for international studies.”

Miriam plans to graduate in May from IU Bloomington and hopes to pursue an M.A. in TESOL in the fall.
