Choose your costume for the History Club Halloween Meeting wisely.

One of the great benefits of the Classical Studies Program moving under the umbrella of the History Department is that, in good Roman style, we can see what of their stuff we like and totally co-opt it (if it’s a good enough strategy for Ovid and his Metamorphoses, it’s good enough for us). One thing about the History Department that we Classics professors like very much is the History Club, a great organization where students get together to advocate for history, make friends, and have a good time. We therefore launch our latest cunning plan to send Classical Studies students over to infiltrate the History Club and…get together to advocate for history, make friends, and have a good time? The last part of the plan isn’t very dastardly or aggressive, which makes it less Roman in spirit, but nevertheless a good plan overall.
