Kayla is from New Whiteland, Indiana and has been working with the University Writing for two semesters now. She is currently majoring in Creative Writing here at IUPUI, and loves working with writers and being able to encourage them about their writing. Kayla has been working on a few interesting projects through the center including Mental Illness/Invisible Disability and Therapeutic Writing Workshop for the East Coast Writing Center Association (ECWCA) Conference in March of 2018.
