Ellie is a postdoctoral researcher with the Christian Parenting in the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis project, led by Brian Steensland. She is also working on a book about cultural and theological liberalism among traditionally observant American Jews. She is interested in liberal religion, cultural polarization in the United States, and the interplay between different kinds of religious and cultural authority.
