A senior lecturer and ASL coordinator in the program of American Sign Language and Interpreter Education at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) I earned my M.S. degree in Bilingual Education from McDaniel College, 2006 and a Bachelor degree in ASL Teaching from Gallaudet, 2004. In 1993, I completed the training in the Deaf interpreting for the American Judiciary System at CSUN. I have been teaching ASL in secondary and post-secondary education for 25+ years in Michigan, Maryland, Washington D.C, Virginia, and Kentucky. Personal hobbies are family/animals, reading, hiking/biking, beachcombing, gardening, and crafting.

Serves as a Board of Interpreting Standards for the State of Indiana: FSSA- 2017-2020.
