Engage with Students

  • Be a guest speaker in the classroom or an alumni speaker at an event
    Educate and inspire fellow alumni and current students while strengthening your professional network by being a guest speaker in a liberal arts class or at a liberal arts event. Reach out to Tricia O'Neil at libaodea@iu.edu to let her know your area(s) of expertise or preferred topics and your general availability.
  • Hire a student intern
    Help our students achieve their career aspirations while also helping your workplace fill intern and entry-level roles. Supervise a current liberal arts student in an internship within your company or organization. Please let us know of your available internship or entry-level job opening by emailing us the description at libaodea@iu.edu.
  • Help current students become ready to search for a job
    Empower students and recent graduates with real-world insights and support their career aspirations by helping them navigate career paths with confidence. Be available for Informational Interviews with current students or recent graduates, review resumes and/or LinkedIn profiles and provide helpful feedback, participate in mock interviews to help prepare students and recent graduates to build confidence for job interviews.
