Geography Student Travel Award
Overview
The award provides support to students in the Department of Geography at the IU School of Liberal Arts to encourage educational travel experiences. Allowable expenditures may include, but are not limited to, travel to do field work, presenting at a scholarly conference or academic meeting, and experiential course work in diverse locales.
Selection Criteria
The recipient must be a Geography major in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI. Applicants will submit a short description of their educational travel opportunity, proposed budget, and confirmation that they have been accepted to present at a conference, academic meeting, field work opportunity, or to do experiential coursework in a diverse location.
Note: the soil conservation office is always looking for students to assist with projects if you do not have specific project in mind.
