The quickest way for you to get assistance with Cavanaugh Hall facility questions or concerns is to contact the right team. Use the contacts below for your specific service inquiry.

In the event of a life-threatening fire, hazardous waste spill, chemical fumes, or other emergency on campus, call Campus Police at 317-274-7911.

Room Reservations

We welcome faculty, staff, and student organizations to use our facilities in Cavanaugh Hall. Those who want to use the meeting spaces or classrooms within Cavanaugh Hall should submit a room reservation request. This includes requests to reserve the tabling space(s) in the second floor lobby (CA 299).

For meeting spaces managed by the IU School of Liberal Arts, use the Conference Room Scheduling Form.
For general inventory classrooms managed by the University Registrar, use the Reserve Classroom Space Form.

If you need assistance with a room reservation, have questions about which space to reserve, or need to reserve space outside of Cavanaugh Hall, please contact the Administrative Shared Services Team.

If you have questions about door access or need to add or remove access, please email Administrative Shared Services.

Facility Improvements

Any changes to building design and construction as well as furniture, furnishings, and signage requests must be approved by the university. This encompasses new construction, additions, renovations, interior design, space changes, floor coverings, wall coverings, window coverings/film, casework/millwork, etc.

If you have an idea for a facility improvement, please contact the building coordinator for Cavanaugh Hall who can act as a project manager and liaison between you, the School, and the appropriate university building design and construction team(s).
