2025 Women’s History Month Awards honors two members of the IU School of Liberal Arts

The IU School of Liberal Arts congratulates Rehab Morsi, Lecturer in the Program for Intensive English and Anneka Scott, Career Consultant in the Office of Career Development, for having been recognized with a 2025 IU Indianapolis Women’s History Month Recognition Awards.

For more than 20 years, the annual ceremony, hosted by the Office for Women, celebrates and recognizes the valuable contributions of students, faculty, and staff who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, achievement, advocacy, or service at the campus, community, national, or international level in support of the empowerment of women.

In an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation, sixteen honorees were formally presented awards during a ceremony and reception held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in the Campus Center. In total, four students, seven faculty, and five staff from across IU Indianapolis were selected for recognition this year. Dean Tambra Jackson of the IU School of Education in Indianapolis delivered the keynote address, related to the 2025 Women’s History Month theme, “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations.” Closing remarks were made by Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Jay Gladden.
