Indiana University Indianapolis’s Program for Intensive English (PIE) offers comprehensive academic English training (ESL classes). We provide 7 levels of English for international students and Indiana residents. Our graduates excel in their careers or continue their education, earning Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at universities including IU-Indianapolis, Purdue University, University of Indianapolis, Butler University, Ivy Tech Community College, and others around the world.

The mission of the PIE is to provide non-native English speakers with high-quality, principled,research-based instruction and supportive advising that will help them develop the communication and academic skills as well as the cultural understanding necessary to be successful in academic, professional, and social settings.

Session Dates:

We offer 6 sessions per year. Students can start at the beginning of any session.
