Robert Stine Memorial Scholarship
Overview
Robert Stine was the youngest brother of Rosemarie Stine Mendelsohn. He passed away at the age of 16 before he could attend college. His family loved him dearly and his sister wishes to honor his memory by creating the Robert "Bobby" Stine Memorial Scholarship in the IU School of Liberal Arts in Indianapolis.
Selection Criteria
Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in the School of Liberal Arts who demonstrate a commitment to the well-being of individuals and communities through study in the humanities and social sciences with a focus on individual and community health, have a minimum GPA of 2.75, and have demonstrated financial need.
The scholarship is renewable for up to four (4) years provided that the recipients continue to meet the criteria and have received the recommendation of the Scholarship Committee for renewal. You must resubmit an application to be eligible for renewal each year.
In order to be considered, applicants must submit a 500-word essay addressing the prompt "Describe your commitment to the well-being of individuals and communities through study in the humanities and social sciences with a focus on individual and community health."
