The Curriculum Committee provides faculty oversight for curriculum, and academic policies and standards for both undergraduate and graduate curriculum. The committee shall:
- review and develop specific recommendations for the Assembly on academic policies and standards;
- approve new courses;
- recommend to the Assembly the approval of new majors, minors, programs, degrees, and certificates;
- review and recommend to the Assembly as appropriate courses, majors, minors, programs, degrees, or certificates to be significantly revised, dropped, or suspended.
The Committee shall be composed of five faculty members, including representation from those with experience teaching graduate courses; a designated Executive Committee representative; a non-voting School administrative officer designated by the Dean; and a student.
